Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kacey Musgraves Releases New Song “justified”
Earlier this week, American singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves announced the release date of her upcoming fifth studio album “star-crossed” and released the album title track.
Followed by, she dropped a new song “justified” along with a music video on August 27th.
The video was exclusively premiered on MTV and CMT.
The song was written by Kacey Musgraves, Ian Fitchuk, Ilsey Juber and Brandon Joyner Burton. Produced by Daniel Tashian, Ian Fitchuk and Kacey Musgraves.
The new album is accompanied by the 50-minute film. Both of the album and the film are set to be released on September 10, 2021.
The film was directed by Bardia Zeinali. “We wanted it to feel cinematic and epic without compromising the heart and the emotion,” Bardia Zeinali said in a statement, “to feel fantastical and heightened and tell her story through the lens of art and fashion.”
