  • Templeton Pek Announces New Album “Savages”, Shares New Song “Artifact”

  • Birmingham-based punk rock band Templeton Pek, consisting of Neal Mitchell (vocals/bass), Kev Green (guitar) and Jon Keen (drums), has announced their upcoming sixth studio album “Savages” will be released on October 3, 2025 via SBÄM Records and Double Helix Records.

The album is their first LP in seven years since the 2018 album “Watching the World Come Undone”.
The band recorded the album earlier this year. The album comprises 12 tracks, produced by George Perks.
It is heavier, darker, and more politically charged, while never losing the melodic core that defines Templeton Pek.

The band lead singer Neal Mitchell said of the album, “Savages is the record we've been wanting to make for years, It's loud, it's pissed off, but it's also about unity. These songs are for anyone who's ever felt like they've had to stand up and shout to be heard.”
  • From the album, the band released a new song “Artifact” on August 22, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Savages”, “Paradigm”, and “Hurricanes”.
It was written by Jon Keen, Kevin Green, and Neal Mitchell. Produced by George Perks.
Caught between the space of rage and beauty, the song combines a rousing, chant-ready chorus with monster riffs and confrontational lyrics dismantling the zeitgeist of today.

Guitarist Kev Green said of the song, “It's a pretty hard hitting song against the world, I think. So I'm sure we can all relate to that some way, shape or form. But like most of our songs, it does that, but it also has a positive outlook, where you can get there and you will get there and just keep going.”
