JADE Releases New Song “Unconditional”
British singer-songwriter JADE will release her upcoming debut solo album “THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!” this Friday (September 12).
From the album, she released the sixth and final pre-release single called “Unconditional” on September 10, 2025.
The song is a tribute to her mother, who who suffers from lupus and various illnesses.
JADE said, “All my life I've had the frustration of not being the one who can help her or save her. I thought: how can I write a really sad song that we're all going to want to shake our tits to?”
It was written by Jade Thirlwall, Pablo Bowmanm, and Mike Sabath, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music visualiser was directed by Fa and Fon.
JADE told Zane Lowe of Apple Music about the song, “This song is the last song I wrote, actually, for the record. I did it with Mike Sabbath and Pablo Blowman and it's a song about my mum and growing up with her lupus all my life and her being in the hospital and it's a song about wishing I could fix someone with my love but instead of being too dreary, it's got a very heavy sort of disco energy to it, I remember that day, the references were like Donna Summer meets MGMT. It's emerging, and that's where I think is where I strive, it's emerging a Frankestein of sounds to create what is the JADE of it all.”- The debut album comprises 14 tracks, which she recorded in Los Angeles. JADE told The Face about the album, “It took a really long time to do this album because I was finding myself and I was working with so many different people, which is quite exhausting, constantly going to these new rooms, bearing your soul every time. I think this album had to be a bit of a mismatch of songs. I was like, well, it should just reflect that chaos.” - source : Apple Music
