Chloe Stroll Announces Debut Album “Bloom in the Break”, Shares New Song “I Stood My Ground”
Canadian singer-songwriter Chloe Stroll has announced her upcoming debut album “Bloom in the Break” will be released on September 12, 2025.
Chloe Stroll said of the album title, “I pictured something beautiful-literally the most beautiful flower blooming through breaking glass. Because life's obstacles create who we are, which is where beauty lies-in all our imperfections. It's how we grow to become the people we are.”
From the album, she released a new song “I Stood My Ground” along with a music video on August 1, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Hurricane”, “Thin Air” and “You're OK”.
Chloe Stroll co-wrote the song with producer Walter Afansieff.
Chloe Stroll said of the song, “Walter and I were talking about moments when I've felt unheard or when my values felt compromised. We explored the idea of what it's like to stand your ground while everything around you feels like it's unraveling.”- Chloe Stroll wrote over 70 songs before narrowing them down to a 12-track collection for the album, on which she worked with producers Kevin Bard, David (Swagg R'Celious) Harris, and Walter Afansieff.
Chloe Stroll said of the album, “I wanted people to be able to relate to it in their own ways, and in their own struggles. Your problem is your problem, but when you're standing up against a wall, we're all facing that same wall. That was my North Star.”
She added, “This album has been years in the making, so much love has gone into it. A massive thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey, inspired me, listened to me and supported my dream. This album is truly from my heart.” - source : Apple Music
