AMAZONICA Releases New Song “Mirror Baby”
London-Los Angeles based DJ AMAZONICA released a new song “Mirror Baby” on September 5, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “New Start”, which was released back in April.
Both songs will appear on her upcoming debut album “Victory”, which is set to be released on September 29, 2025 via her own label Diamonds x Dragons.
The track builds on a menacing groove; it’s an ode to intimacy, duality, and finding strength in reflection.
It was written and produced by AMAZONICA. The accompanying music video was directed by AMAZONICA and Rome, and filmed in New York.
AMAZONICA told tmrw about the song, “It's about someone I used to know and meant a lot to me but after revisiting the connection later in life I realised how much power I have now in myself, which I didn't have before. I felt empowered and it's kind of saying yeah there's always going to be fire here but I am way ahead now. I've learnt from the best and you can see what I learnt from you mirrored back to you but it is from afar.”- The album “Victory” is the first record as AMAZONICA. She has released two albums, “Songs From The Edge” and “The Trouble with.. Harry” as Dirty Harry.
This time, she reissued two previous albums as a album trilogy, including “Victory”, via her own label Diamonds x Dragons.
AMAZONICA describes the new album as “Pop music for the apocalypse.”
She wrote and recorded “Victory” over a decade, producing it in her London flat. The result is a visceral, cinematic body of work about faith, resilience, the beauty in starting over and winning the war with yourself as well as everyone else.
AMAZONICA said of the album, “This one's from the heart: No manager. No label. No funding. No agent. No team of songwriters and producers. Just me, my music, and you. It's been a fight to get here - but I kept my promise. I did it myself. And I've never been more proud of a record.” -
