Hunter Hayes Releases New Song “Fragile”
American singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes released the third single “Fragile” from his upcoming album “Evergreen” on August 15, 2025, following “Wait” and “Around The Sun”.
The album is his first body of work since the 2023 album “Red Sky”. The release date and tracklist for the album have not yet been announced.
Hunter Hayes said of the album, “It's a whole project about just manifesting, creating more of what you want in the world, and knowing that you can create it.”
The song is accompanied by a music video. The track was written by Hunter Hayes, Sara Haze, and Sam Ellis. Produced by Hunter Hayes, Alex Flagstad, and Sam Ellis.
Hunter Hayes said of the song, “Every song release is a big deal. This song has waited a long time to have its moment. I remember when Sara Haze, Sam Ellis and I wrote Fragile (the same day we wrote another song called Madness), it held a special place in my soul as a human. So much so, that it kept disappearing from different projects as if to wait for the right moment to be introduced to the world. Being on Evergreen, song release number 3... it's crazy how things work themselves out for the best when you trust the process.”- He continued, “I always wanted to change the lyrics of the first line because I was afraid it wouldn't make sense. But the more I worked with it, the more personal it became, and the more truth it carried. I would tell you what it means to me, but I want to hear how all of you connect with it first, so I'll just say this...”
He added, “This one is for anyone in a season of life where the structure of you that you've built for the world needs to take a break and make space to care for the human inside.
