Sam Fischer Releases New Song “Conversations We Never Had”
Los Angeles-based Australian pop rock singer-songwriter Sam Fischer released a new song “Conversations We Never Had” on August 15, 2025.
The song follows the collaborative song “Made For You” with Norwegian DJ Matoma and British DJ Loek, which was released back in June.
The track was written by Benjamin Charles Jackson-Cook, and Louis Collard-Watson. Produced by Louis Mattrs.
“A song about closure & how every time you think you've got it locked, something blows that door wide open again,” Sam Fischer said of the song. “The truth is, if you can relate to this song, I hate that for you. I hate what you've had to go through at the hands of someone else. I hate that your friends could see it but didn't feel comfortable saying something to you until it was over. I hate that your hindsight is 20/20 and that all you missed is so bleedingly obvious to you now. I hate that you feel embarrassed about it. I hate that every day you're reminded of it, in small ways & big. I hate that no matter how much you want to, you can't express to them how much they hurt you. I hate that you can't trust as openly anymore. I hate that any help you're offered now feels like criticism. & I hate that you now feel like all love you receive is conditional.”- He added, “But I love this song. & I love that it now exists in your worlds for you to find your own meaning in it. Maybe you'll show me that it's a testament to all I was able to get through, & that writing it out & releasing it to the world is proof that though it was hard, I got through it. However it's received, as always I'm just grateful to be still releasing music to the most empathetic & beautiful fans in the world.”
