Heather Avalon Returns With New Song “beg for me”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Heather Avalon returned with a new song “beg for me” on August 22, 2025.
The song is the first music since “Use Me”, which was released last November.
The track, inspired by a whirlwind summer fling with a visitor from the UK, is a fiery, emotionally charged pop-rock anthem that captures the sting of one-sided love and the fantasy of finally being the one in control.
Heather Avalon co-wrote and co-produced the song with Jesse Maxwell.
Heather Avalon said of the song, “I spent five days with someone and genuinely thought we could make it work after he went back to the UK. I wanted to write a song that told the story as it was while also telling my story of what I wanted, which was for him to come crawling back to me on his hands and knees, begging for me.”- He added, “This song makes me feel powerful. It helped me reclaim my voice and remember I don’t need someone to beg for me – I can be the one who gives that love and validation to myself.”
