Sally Phantom Releases Debut Song “Going Insane”
Canadian alt-rock singer-songwriter Sally Phantom released her debut song “Going Insane” on September 25, 2025.
The song dives into addiction, identity, and emotional unraveling, delivered with rare lyrical poise and intensity.
The track will appear on her upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2026.
It was written by Sally Phantom and Hugo Mudie. Produced by Hugo Mudie, Adrian Popovich, Karl Houde, and Sally Phantom.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
Sally Phantom said of the song, “It’s a conversation with God, a personal letter to my addictions, and a reflection on the pain of loving someone I couldn’t have. Addiction had controlled my life since my teens. At 23, my dad sent me to rehab, and it saved me. Sobriety gave me the courage to feel again-and this song was how I admitted that to heal, I had to finally feel.”- She continued, “There was a darkness I carried with me for a long time and it’s still there-just in a healthier way now.”
She added, “I’ve dreamed of this since childhood. I used to sing for hours on my grandmother’s bed. Seeing Lady Gaga’s Just Dance video changed everything-I finally saw an artist I could relate to.
