Fickle Friends Announces New Self-Titled Album, Shares New Song “Joe”
Brighton-based indie pop band Fickle Friends, consisting of Natassja Shiner (vocals), Jack Wilson (guitar), Jack Harry Herrington (bass) and Sam Morris (drums), has announced their upcoming self-titled third studio album will be released on November 7, 2025 via their own label Palmeira Music.
It marks their first album in three years since the 2022 album “Are We Gonna Be Alright?”.
From the album, the band released a new song “Joe” on October 2, 2025.
The song is the sixth single off of the album, following “Feral”, “Dream”, “Swoon”, “Happier”, and “UP!”.
It was written and produced by Fickle Friends.
The band lead singer Natassja Shiner said of the song, “'Joe' captures the thrills (and the meltdowns) of new love. That rush when everything feels electric, but your brain won't stop whispering, 'it's too good to be true'. It's messy, irrational…bringing out the unhinged side in even the most measured people. We took that jittery, overthinking energy and bottled it in a bold, chaotic, indie pop anthem.”- The album comprises 11 tracks, produced by Fickle Friends. The record marks both a return and a rebirth, with joy, friendship, and finding your way back to the things that make you feel alive.
Natassja Shiner said of the album, “This album feels like the most authentic we've ever been. It's the sound of falling back in love with music, with being a band, and with life itself. It's honest and FUN.”
The band added, “This record is about happiness. The messy, complicated, hard-won kind. It's about the friends who carry you through, the nights that turn into mornings, the thrill of falling in love, and the joy of finally letting yourself live unapologetically.” -
