  • Jessie J Releases New Song “Believe in Magic”

  • London-based singer-songwriter Jessie J released a new song “Believe in Magic” on August 29, 2025.

The single is the third song after the comeback, following “No Secrets“ and “Living My Best Life”. Also, the song will appear on her upcoming album.
She wrote the song in 2022 when she was pregnant. Produced by Los Hendrix and Dixson.
But before the release of the song, she announced that she has to undergo a second surgery for breast cancer, that her No Secrets US tour has been cancelled, and that she has postponed the UK and European shows. Back in June, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy.
Also, she filmed a music visualiser for the song ahead of her surgery.

Jessie J said of the song, “I wrote this song back in 2022 when I was pregnant, and I feel more connected to it now more than ever. We shot this artwork and visualiser super last minute 2 days after Summer Time ball, so 5 days before my breast cancer surgery. I decided it was definitely the song I wanted to release next, and I didn't want to wait until after my surgery or until next year to create visuals so I could release it when I was ready. And had no idea when that would be. I still don't. So I have now come to realise I may never be ready. So here it is. Ready or not.“
  • She added, “I am 7 weeks post breast cancer surgery. I'm still in the thick of recovery and my body is still finding its way. But I love music and I love my life and I want to live in the moment. Instead of stopping and disappearing and waiting for the timing to be perfect to release music again. I am choosing to carry on. Life is layered and has highs and lows and we just have to keep living through all of it, the best we can. So here I am. Living. And I just want you to have the music....“

  • She said of the tour cancellation, “She said of the tour cancellation, So as some of you may know, I just had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago. Some of you may not. So that's one thing. The second thing is, unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery. Nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year. And unfortunately, that falls right in the middle of a tour that I had booked. So I'm living in the moment. I'm embracing the moment, and I'm flowing with the vibes. So that is what it is, and I'm sorry. I feel frustrated and sad, but also it is what it is, and I need to be better. I need to be healed. And I know this is the right decision to make. So I'm postponing the tour till next year. So forgive me. I'm sorry this sucks, but I know you guys probably knew this was coming. So yes, April 2026 I'll be back out on the road for the UK and European shows, and the US dates will be announced as soon as we can find time.”
