Robbie Williams Performs “Pretty Face”, “Old Before I Die” & Wet Leg's “Chaise Longue” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams appeared on BBC Radio 1 Anthems Live Lounge to perform his newest song “Pretty Face”, his debut song “Old Before I Die”, and a cover of British indie rock band Wet Leg's “Chaise Longue”.
This marks his first performance in 15 years since the 2020 performance with British singer-songwriter and former bandmate Gary Barlow.
“Pretty Face” was released as the sixth single on October 10, from his upcoming 13th studio album “BRITPOP”, which is set to be released on February 6, 2026.
He first performed the song at Dingwalls in Camden on October 9, 2025.
“Old Before I Die” was released as the first single from his debut solo album “Life thru a Lens” in 1997. The song reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart.
Robbie Williams will embark on an intimate 'Long 90s' UK tour in February 2026 to perform all songs from “Life thru a Lens” and “BRITPOP”.
“Chaise Longue” was released by Wet Leg as the lead single from their self-titled debut album in 2021.- Robbie Williams told BBC Radio 1 about “Chaise Longue”, “Every now and again, my algorithm pops up with something that makes me feel like I'm 14 again. Wet Leg make me feel really, really excited. We used to have a magazine called Smash Hits. It used to have the lyrics to songs. I'm 51 and a song will come on the radio and it makes me want to get out my Smash Hits magazine and go and learn the lyrics. I learnt all the lyrics to this one.”

Initially, the new album wad supposed to be released on October 2025, but was pushed back to February 6, 2026.
He pushed back the album after learning that its original release date would clash with Taylor Swift's new album “The Life of a Showgirl”.
Robbie Williams is currently tied with The Beatles for a record 15 UK number one albums. He hopes to break this record by reaching number one with his upcoming album “BRITPOP.”
He told BBC Radio 1, “I'm still a big deal but I can't compete with that one. So I've shifted it. I've moved it a little bit. It's an alternative reality that I step into when I think about my career and I think about that particular record. But I'll take it. Don't get me wrong. I'm really competitive, too, which is why I moved the album. I desperately want that thing.” - source : BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge
