Morgan Myles Announces New Album “Laced”, Shares Title Track
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Morgan Myles has announced her upcoming sophomore album “Laced” will be released on February 13, 2026.
It is her first studio album in five years since the 2020 debut album “Therapy”.
The album comprises 12 tracks, produced by Ross Hogarth.
From the album, she released the title track “Laced” on September 19, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off, following “Weight of Your Words”, “Weight of Your Words”, and “How Does That Sound”.
The accompanying music video was directed by Randy Shaffer.
Morgan Myles said of the song, “'Laced' is a raw and personal exploration of the tumultuous effects of a toxic relationship, where love becomes intertwined with pain and addiction. The lyrics convey the struggle of being caught in a cycle of desire and heartbreak, illustrating how the allure of love can lead to emotional chaos. Each line paints the highs and lows of being captivated and ensnared by a love that ultimately brings harm. This song resonates, reflecting the challenge of recognizing toxicity and the haunting realization that what feels like love can leave you laced with hurt and regret.”- She continued, “Sometimes the only way to cope if to pen to paper... if you've been following my journey this year I broke off my wedding engagement. I was ready to married, I was ready to start a family. But as hard as it was to call the wedding I knew it was not going to end the way I wish it had. My heart is still in healing mode but I want this song to help anybody else that is struggling to believe that their soulmate is out there. They are, love does truly conquer all- sometimes we just have to go through a lot of pain before we get our happily ever after...”

She added, “I think there’s a bigger message in my song that relates to what’s happening right now. Yes, I wrote this about a toxic relationship, but isn’t that where we are in our country right now? I don’t know about yall, but I can feel that heaviness of the hatred that’s consuming our world right now. It just seems to be something everyday... piling more and more on... where does this end? Many many many Hearts need to heal.” - source : Apple Music
