Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez Team Up for New Song “Ocean”
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez to release a new song “Ocean” on September 5, 2025.
Last May, Calvin Harris teased the song with American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus on vocals.
Originally, he co-wrote the song with Jessie Reyez and recorded it with her on vocals. Finally, he decided to release the original version.
To date, Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez co-wrote the songs such as “One Kiss” with British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa, "Promises" with British singer-songwriter Sam Smith, and "Slow Down" with former Fifth Harmony Normani.

Jessie Reyez said of the song, “Huge DJ finally keeps my vocals on a song after year of ghostwriting. Pop star fans are upset 'cause they heard the demo first like babes, I've been waiting my whole life to get unghosted let me be happy.”- She continued,“ Here's a song that you know, but you might not know that I wrote it ('One Kiss with Due Lipa). When we first made it, it was just me and Calvin in the room. And I was just jumping around the room like this is a vibe and he was on the board like nodding his head like mhm. And it just so happens that after many years of writing for bigger artists. Calvin has decided to keep my vocals on the record. So we got a song coming out called 'Ocean'. Hope y'all fck with it.
