Clinton Kane Releases New Song “FALLEN LEAVES”
Australian singer-songwriter Clinton Kane released a new song “FALLEN LEAVES” on August 1, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “HEARTBEAT FOR A HOME” with Swedish singer-songwriter Elina, which was released back in June.
Also it is the ninth single as an independent artist after he left Columbia Records in August 2024.
The track tells a story of longing, memory, and the messy truth of using love as a temporary escape from loneliness.
He co-wrote the song with producer Steve Rusch.
Clinton Kane said of the song, “I wrote ‘Fallen Leaves’ at 20 because I was doing exactly that-keeping people around not because I cared about them, but because I hated my own company. It’s messy, it’s honest, and I think most people have been there at least once, even if they won’t admit it.”- He shared on social media, “This song is about difference between wanting someone and wanting anyone. I spent too much time not knowing which was which. I was 20, lonely and convinced that having someone around was better than figuring out now to be okay by myself. Spoil: it wasn't. Now I'm 25 and wondering if everyone goes through this or if I'm really bad at bing alone. Guess we'll find out together through whatever mess I turn into a song next.”
