  • The Hunna Announces New EP “blue transitions”, Shares New Song “bloom”

  • London-based alt-rock band The Hunna, consisting of Ryan Potter (vocals/guitar), Jack Metcalfe (drums) and Daniel Dorney (guitar), has announced their upcoming first EP “blue transitions” will be released on November 14, 2025 via FLG.

From the EP, the band released a new song “bloom” on August 14, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the EP, following “hide & seek” released last month.
It was written and produced by Daniel Dorney, Jack Metcalfe, and Ryan Potter.
As with the previous video for “hide & seek”, the accompanying music video was directed by Modern Day Auteur, starring Nicholas Gizewski and Aris Jeffers.

The band lead singer Ryan Potter said of the song, “'bloom' follows on from the first single 'hide & seek'. it's a story about the raw gritty parts to love, life & relationships. are we able to see past any triggers or past trauma's we faced for what they are? & do we have the courage to confront them?”
  • The new EP comprises 5 tracks, produced by The Hunna. It is their first ever EP. Also, the EP is their first project in three years since the 2022 self-titled album.

Ryan Potter said of the EP, “Our first ever EP blue transitions is a set of powerful, melancholic songs taking a deeper look into the transformations & changes that occur naturally in life between two individuals. The transitional moments & mechanisms that can play out all underlined by different complexions of blue signifying sadness yet also grace in the face of such difficult moments.”
