  • Bryan Adams Releases New Album “Roll With The Punches”

  • Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams released his sixteenth studio album “Roll With The Punches” along with a new music video for “Will We Ever Be Friends Again?” on August 29, 2025 via his own Bad Records record label.

This marks his first album in three years since the 2022 album “So Happy It Hurts”. It is also the first release as an independent artist after 40 years on Universal Music.
The album comprises 10 tracks, which were written and produced by Bryan Adams.
The record features Pat Steward on drums, Keith Scott on guitar, Mutt Lange on keyboards, and Jim Vallance on background vocals.
The new music video was directed by Bryan Adams himself, starring Icelandic model Inga Eiriksdottir, and filmed in Iceland.

Bryan Adams said of the album, “Super excited to not only launch my 16th studio album, but also to launch it on my own label Bad Records! It's been a minute since we released So Happy It Hurts, and so much has happened in the past couple of years, all of which has been the inspiration for Roll With The Punches. Rock on!”
  • Bryan Adams told Rock Cellar about an independent artist, “I left my management and became an independent artist after 40 years on Universal Music. Finally, I was free. The message is keep going, keep progressing, and things will be all right.”

He continued, “I actually started the label in 2013 with encouragement from Universal Music. I never released anything, though I compiled some 45's during that time for the label. The name Bad came from my nickname in high school, which was fitting. And actually everything bad now is good! When I became an independent artist, I decided to really do something with the label. Universal Records allowed me to keep most of my music after leaving that label, and the new label has become a house for my music.”

  • Bryan Adams explained some tracks for the album.

    “Roll With The Punches”
“'Roll With The Punches' is a song about resilience and the spirit of getting back up no matter how hard you've been knocked down. This song is for everyone who's ever felt defeated but chose to fight another day. I believe it captures the idea of getting through things when confronted with challenges and disappointment by simply rocking out!”

    “Make Up Your Mind”
“It's about making the decision to either move forwards together or finally move on. If you've ever questioned the past, yearned for another shot, or felt the bittersweet sting of 'what if,' this song is for you.”

    “Never Ever Let You Go”
Elizabeth Hurley: “Thank you wonderful friend of 30 years Bryan Adams for asking me to be in your video for your new song 'Never Ever Let You Go'. Best rollercoaster ride ever.”

    “A Little More Understanding”
“For me, the sentiment of this song couldn't come at a better time. We need to be able to see each other with a little more kindness and compassion, and what better way than if we take a walk in each other's shoes. Go on, I dare ya'!”

    “Life is Beautiful”
“I wanted to try new things and move forward. You don't want to stay in the same place or get stuck in that place. I tried to do some experimentation with songs on the new album.”

“Will We Ever Be Friends Again?”
“Thanks to Inga Eiriksdottir for starring in the video (and playing the accordion) in Iceland!”
