Rudimental Releases New Album “RUDIM3NTAL”
London-based drum and bass band Rudimental, consisting of Piers Aggett (piano/synthesizer), Kesi Dryden (bass) and Leon 'Locksmith' Rolle (keyboard), released their fifth studio album “RUDIM3NTAL” on August 22, 2025.
This marks their first album in four years since the 2021 album “Ground Control”.
The album comprises 15 tracks, featuring collaboration with Skepsis, Khalid, 1991, Pnau, AR/CO, Vibe Chemistry, Rag'n'Bone Man, Karen Harding, Jess Glynne, Riko Dan, Liam Bailey, Eva Lazarus, Charlotte Plank, Mystic Marley, Flowdan, Idris Elba, Peter Xan, Mist, Popcaan, Venbee, Liam Bailey, Dr Meaker, and Liv Campbell.
The new album is a purer form of their signature sound, as they return to their DnB roots, celebrating the genre in all its many forms.
Through both their distinctive production and their choice of featured artists, on this album Rudimental dive deeper than ever before into the cultural links between pirate radio and sound system culture in both the UK and the Caribbean.- Rudimental said of the album, “Long time coming. What a journey it's been. 20 years on and we're still going strong, still pushing boundaries, and still doing what we love. This project means a lot to us. We're just having fun again. Sometimes you can get a bit lost in where you're going, and this new album is just back to us, like, having fun. Massive love to all the incredible artists and collaborators who've been part of bringing this record to life. ”

The band explained some tracks for the album.
“Green & Gold” with Skepsis, featuring Charlotte Plank and Riko Dan
”We've enjoyed teaming up with Skepsis on our new track, and getting back in the studio with Charlotte once again after our massive anthem together 'Dancing Is Healing'. Grime legend Riko Dan walked in and laid down his verse in one take... it was a crazy day and we can't wait to drop this heater!”
“Back To Me” with Jess Glynne
Jess Glynne: “It's been a minute but we're back and we got another for you!”
“Vex” with Skepsis featuring MIST and Popcaan
“This tune was made for the pub and when you hear in the club it will knock your head off. It was a session we did not too long ago with Skepsis, and we were just making, making some vibes together. We obviously did 'Green & Gold' with him, and MIST has walked through and laid this crazy verse down, and it's kind of took a whole journey from them, really.
We've wanted to get missed on a track for so long. We've had so many rave sessions we've missed. We've been for with him, and we said we've got to get in the studio at some point. So the fact that we've got him on this track is a massive for us, person.
As another person that we wanted to get on a few tracks, we've actually done a few tracks with Popcaan that we haven't released, so it'll be interesting to get the views of everyone running. And I guess it's a record that's done in good rudimental fashion. You don't expect these two eyes to come together on a drum and bass track misses from the UK rap scene, and then you've got Popcaan from the reggae scene, and then us. So it's a concoction that's going to make you brave and it's going to pop your heads off just like this.”
“All I Know” with Khalid
Rudimenta: “It's a lovely blend of old school and new school Rudi, with lots of live instruments-piano, organ, and strings. Khalid smashed the vocal.”
Khalid: “Rudimental is a legendary group and I'm stoked to collaborate with them on their latest single, 'All I Know'. I hope fans enjoy the infectious production and soulful melodies. It's exciting for sure!” - source : Apple Music
