Mimi Webb Releases New Album “Confessions”
British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb released her sophomore album “Confessions” on September 12, 2025 via Epic Records.
It marks her first album in two years since the 2023 debut album “Amelia”.
The album comprises 12 tracks, featuring collaboration with American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor.
Produced by Adam Yaron, Connor McDonough, Federico Vindver, Gabe Yaron, Grant, Jason Evigan, John Ryan, Jordan Riley, Manuel Lara, Pete Nappi, Peter Fenn, Riley McDonough, R.I.Pablo, RISC and Ryan Daly.
She wrote the album between Los Angeles and London. But the first version of the album was scrapped, and she rewrote the album from scratch.
It features themes of heartbreak, empowerment and self-discovery.
Mimi Webb told Apple Music about the album, “The first version of the album was completely scrapped. I wrote it about a year and a half ago and I just freaked out and felt so uninspired. I was like, 'I can't sing these bloody songs for the next two years on tour. There's just no way.' Even though I had so much love for them, it wasn't touching the surface for me, it wasn't deep enough for what I was going through in my day-to-day life.”
She continued, “I had no idea what I was going to call this album and I was back and forth. There's a lot of positive and a lot of negative in it, and I think that is the story of life. For me, it was about being able to break the fourth wall on this album and dive a lot deeper than the surface levels. It's about the whole experience of unexpected turns-you never really know what's around the corner.”- Mimi Webb shared on social media, “Welcome to the world my confessions album!!!! Wow where do I even begin to explain the gratitude & love for you. You aren't just an album & a bundle of music to me you really are my lifeline for the last 3 years of my time. It's been a whirl wind of emotions putting this album together and my god if you got to see some of the behind the scenes stuff you'd wanna run & hide at times lol. But honestly this album has built me into a women with so much resilience & strength and I couldn't have done it without the focus and creativity on this album. Only a hand full of people know how the last year has really been for me and to be able to produce something so positive out of it all & something I can sit and be so sooo proud of is something I'll never forget. If you asked me 'Mimi what is going to help you feel better' I'd say my album, I just want to make something I know will never leave me and something that is completely mine/ me to the core I just want my ALBUM!!!! It really has been my obsession and has felt like my best work yet.”

Mimi Webb explained some tracks for the album.
“Love Language”
“It changes a lot with age. When I was 21, it was gift giving and then as I got older, it's all acts of service for me, just being a few steps ahead and helping me. If I'm rushing home from work, I'd love a bit of dinner on the table.”
“'Love Language' is my first step into this new era and I don't think I've ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music. The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can't wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.”
“Mind Reader” with Meghan Trainor
Mimi Webb: “Meghan is an artist I've admired for such a long time and having her be my first-ever collaboration on a single feels like a dream come true. The song came together in such a fun, natural way. She's an amazing songwriter and we actually wrote 'Mind Reader' during the first session we ever did together. When I got home and listened back, I immediately felt like the track needed her voice on it, so I called her straight away and asked if she'd jump on it as a feature. She said yes immediately!”
Meghan Trainor: “Working with Mimi was an absolute dream!! My husband and I have been big fans of her for years, so we were star struck when she came to the house to write this song. We had the best time writing 'Mind Reader', so I was beyond excited when she asked me to feature on it. I can't wait to dance to this song all summer long!”
“You Don't Look At Me The Same”
“'You Don't Look at Me the Same' is the most vulnerable song I've ever released. It's written from the perspective of a child, telling the story of two people you love who are no longer on the same page – and you slowly watch them grow apart. Writing this was incredibly therapeutic for me, and I hope it brings the same sense of comfort and understanding to anyone who listens.”
She shared her love story using each of its song titles, “He told me I was too emotional after he cancelled dinner plans on me last minute. I took it as 'My Go' ahead to show up at the reservation by myself, and flirted with the cute restaurant owner. we've now been dating for 3 years!
He said his 'Love Language' was gift giving... so I gave him the gift of freedom after he cheated. I missed him while I was at work and when I pulled my phone out to text him, my phone started ringing with a call from him like some Kind of 'Mind Reader'.
I found flirty messages with all these girls on his laptop. I asked him about it and he said 'You should be flattered that other girls want me'. What a 'Narcissist'!! 'accidentally' shattered the laptop on the floor and haven't spoken to him since.
My best friend caught me asking my ex to 'Kiss My Neck' last night... we got back together.
Ruined my relationship. Ruined the MEANING of I love you for me. All for what?? Met you, I liked you, and now I think 'I Love You For Me'.
Going back and looking at pictures from our first date is like looking at proof that 'You Don't Look At Me The Same'.
'I Met a Boy' who was so into me until I noticed his girlfriend on his lockscreen.
I thought I was going insane so I called my therapist crying at 3am. Turns out it was just the 'Side Effects' of dating a loser.
He thinks I'm dramatic, but he hasn't even seen me 'Crashing Out' yet.
My ex brought me flowers and apologized in the rain. I brag to my friends how it felt straight out of a 'Rom Com'. What I failed to tell them is that he cheated on me three times... He broke my heart and I still have his tv logins.. so I changed all of his profile icons to monsters.
