Fields of Jake Releases New Song “Single Forever”
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jake Fields, aka Fields of Jake released his brand new single “Single Forever” on August 1, 2025.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut album, which is set to be released in 2025.
The track offers a raw view of the uneasy feelings that accompany summer love.
It was written by Jake Fields and produced by Jim McGorman.
Jake Fields said of the song, “I wrote this song about a year before recording it as a goof, but I never could get the melody out of my head. It’s about the existential anxiety at the start of a relationship that is actually working for once. Waiting for the other ‘shoe to drop’ because that’s all you’ve ever known.”- The debut album comprises 8 tracks, on which he worked with producer Jim McGorman at the studio Lucy’s Meat Market in Los Angeles. It is his anticipated pop-rock record.
The album follows the EP “No One Wants to See the Grand Canyon Alone”, which was released as the first EP under the name Fields of Jake back in June.
He has also released two EPs “Someday You'll Be Mine” and self-titled EP as Jake Fields. -
