The Favors (FINNEAS & Ashe) Releases New Song “Times Square Jesus”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter FINNEAS and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ashe's new band The Favors released a new song “Times Square Jesus” on August 13, 2025.
The song is the third and final pre-release single from their upcoming debut album “The Dream”, which is set to be released on September 19, 2025, following “The Little Mess You Made” and “The Hudson”,
The track was written by Ashlyn Willson, David Marinelli, Finneas O'Connell, and Matthew Fildey. Produced by FINNEAS.
FINNEAS Said of the song, “In Times Square and Hollywood, you have Jesus, the Naked Cowboy, Elmo, or whoever else you walk by and pay your respects to. Even if you don’t live a religious life, you’re still confronted by religion. When you are, you can’t help but think about your own life, regrets, desires, or baggage. If the ‘Times Square Jesus’ told you to confess, you might think of the person you’re secretly in love with.”- The debut album comprises 12 tracks and was recorded between Nashville and Los Angeles. Ashe said of the album, “This is the way every artist dreams of making an album. People don't sing together anymore when they're recording, but it was so romantic and fun. I want you to feel simultaneously warm, fuzzy, and heartbroken at the same time.”
