Ruel Releases New Song “I Can Die Now”
Los Angeles-based Australian singer-songwriter Ruel released his brand new song “I Can Die Now” on July 17, 2025.
The song is the first single off of his upcoming sophomore album, which is expected to be released later this year.
The album is his first LP in two years since the 2023 debut album “4th Wall”.
He first performed the song during his Red Bull Symphonic shows in Sydney earlier this year.
Also he will perform the song at a special pop-up event at LA’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery on July 18, 2025.
It was written by Ed Drewett, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Joshua Coleman, Julian Bunetta, Mark Schick, and Ruel Vincent Van Dijk. Produced by Julian Bunetta, Mark Schick, and Ammo.
He has already filmed a music video for the song, directed by creative duo sweetiepie, which will premiere on July 21, 2025.- Ruel said of the song, “I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever to get ‘I Can Die Now’ out. I love the juxtaposition between the title and the theme and energy of the song - once you listen to it, you’ll know what I mean. On top of that, ICDN is the first taste of what my new album might be like...”
He shared on social media, “First single I’ve put out in almost a year and first part of this new eraaaa. All this has been a looong time coming so over the moon to get this out in the world :) Also, see some of y’all tomorrow.” -
