  • Jack White Drops New Music Video for “Archbishop Harold Holmes” starring John C. Reilly

  • American singer-songwriter Jack White dropped a new music video for “Archbishop Harold Holmes” on June 17, 2025.

The video stars American actor John C. Reilly and was directed by Gilbert Trejo, who is known as the son of American actor Danny Trejo.
The song is featured on his sixth studio album “No Name”, which was released last July.
It was written and produced by Jack White.
The video features cameo appearances from Cherry Glazerr's Sami Perez, The Paranoyds' Staz Lindes, SadGirl's Misha Lindes, and Starcrawler's Arrow de Wilde.
Jack White and John C. Reilly are longtime friend. C. Reilly asked to star in the “Archbishop Harold Holmes” video after hearing the song.

John C. Reilly told Stereogum in an interview, “I met Jack before Walk Hard. I heard he was doing 'Mister Cellophane' in concert with the White Stripes. I went and saw it, I think they were doing it as an encore. We hit it off. We have similar pasts - both grew up Catholic in big Irish families, he's from Detroit and I'm from Chicago. We're still very close friends. I was just working with him on something recently that's going to be a big splash, I think.”
  • John C. Reilly is not only an actor but also a musician. He released his debut album “What's Not To Love?” under the pseudonym Mister Romantic on June 13, 2025.

John C. Reilly said of the album, “I looked at our weary world a few years ago and tried to think of a way I could spread love and empathy. I decided the most fun way to do that was through performing and singing and telling people I loved them. So the emotional vaudeville show Mister Romantic was born, out of both hope and despair. What's Not Tp Love? Is a collection of songs from show with some cinematic audio weave in. They tell the story of an eternal optimist, Mister Romantic, as he looks for love... Each song moved me enough to want to share it with people and keep each one alive by passing it on like some of my favorite singers did in their time. The lyrics all have something deeply true about them... Someone onece said 'It's better to light one tiny candle than to curse the darkness.' Well, this is our little candle in the darkness. We hope it reminds people that it's good to love. I figured it was wroth a try.”
