Tom Odell Announces New Album “A Wonderful Life”, Shares New Song “Don't Cry, Put Your Head On My Shoulder”
British singer-songwriter Tom Odell has announced his upcoming seventh studio album “A Wonderful Life” will be released on September 5, 2025 via UROK.
The album is the follow-up to the 2024 album “Black Friday” and comprises 10 tracks. It is his first LP in a year and nine months.
Tom Odell said of the album, “I wish I could wrap it up into a nice little bow of what the mood and the message is, but these songs are the antithesis of that. To live, and to write honestly about it, is such a profoundly important part of my life now. And I feel like if I have any duty whatsoever, it’s just to continue to do that.”
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Don't Cry, Put Your Head On My Shoulder” on May 23, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “Don't Let Me Go” released last month.
It was written by Laurie Blundell, Max Clilverd, and Tom Odell. Produced by Tom Odell and Cityfall.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Leggatt.- Tom Odell embarks on Wonderful Life Tour 2025 in Europe and the UK. The tour kicks off at Cardiff Utilita Arena in Cardiff, UK on October 21 and will conclude at Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium on December 4, 2025.
