Maren Morris Releases Deluxe Album “D R E A M S I C L E (deluxe)”
American singer-songwriter Maren Morris released the deluxe edition of her fourth studio album “D R E A M S I C L E”, called “D R E A M S I C L E (deluxe)” on August 1, 2025 via Columbia Records.
The standard edition of the album was released back in May. It was her first album in three years since the 2022 album “Humble Quest”. Also, it is the first record since coming out herself.
At that time, Maren Morris said, “D R E A M S I C L E takes place in the aftermath of loosening my grip on my personal and professional life. Sweeping through the pits of grief, but never staying too long, and finding the joy in knowing that at my core, I'm still who I am - and that's pretty f-ing great.”
The deluxe edition comprises 18 tracks, including 14 original songs and four new songs, produced by Jimmy Robbins, Maren Morris, Laura Sisk, and Naomi McPherson of American indie pop band MUNA.
Maren Morris said of the deluxe edition, “I thought I was done writing for a bit once. 'D R E A M S I C L E' was turned in, but in one week we got a flurry of new songs in the studio that I couldn't keep contained. They still felt like they existed within the Dreamsicle universe, so I decided to continue this musical chapter. Enjoy a little extra summertime with these four.”- “be a bitch”

Maren Morris said of the song, “After telling my friends in the session about a recent traumatic dating story, I said everything that became a lyric: 'My reputation precedes me, your hairline recedes you' thinking nothing would ever actually go into our song that day, because it's 'too mean'. Then I realized I occasionally water my thoughts down to spare a person's feelings. Who is that helping? The person who hurt you that you'll never see again, or is it empowering you to take back your humor of a situation? I don't need to be a pristine heroine you screwed over, I deserve to be mad and eternalize that ego bruise into song. be a bitch is for anyone who ever let themselves down by being too nice to someone who was going to take advantage either way.” -
