Julia Michaels Releases New Song “No Heartbreak's Killed Me Yet”
American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels released her brand new song “No Heartbreak's Killed Me Yet” on September 19, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to the 6-track EP “Second Self” featuring the collaborative song “Scissors" with American singer-songwriter Maren Morris, which was released back in May.
It was written by Connor McDonough, Felicia Ferraro, Julia Michaels, and Riley McDonough. Produced by Connor McDonough and Riley McDonough.
The accompanying music video was directed by Blythe Thomas and filmed in New York.
Julia Michaels said, “I recommend wandering around your city while you listen to it.”
Last year, she left Republic Records and founded her own label GFY Records as an independent artist. The label's name stands for “Go Fuck Yourself”.
The new song and the previous EP were released via GFY Records.- Julia Michaels told Rolling Stone about the song, “This song is about confidence and resilience, starting something with the faith that you will be OK even in the worst case scenario. Shooting the video all over New York was fitting because it's a city that has a resilient energy; there is that saying that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.”
