Asha Banks Releases New Song “Rerun”
British singer-songwriter and actress Asha Banks released a new song “Rerun” on August 15, 2025.
The song is the first solo music since her debut EP “Untie My Tongue”, which was released back in March.
Also, it the first release under her new label Island Records.
As the single, the track follows the collaborative song “Dive” with British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone, which was released last month.
She co-wrote the song with producer Josh Bruce Williams.
The accompanying music visualizer was filmed in Central Park by Angel Pena and edited by Asha Banks herself.- Asha Banks said of the song, “Rerun is about questioning yourself and what you know you want. It's full of desire and what-ifs and about returning to something you probably shouldn't. It's fun and upbeat whilst still recognising the hard truth. I had the best time writing it, and I'm so thrilled and proud for it to be coming out!”
She added, “I’m so obsessed with this song goodness me, I hope you all love it and scream it forever. I can’t wait to do this one live.” -
