Sickick Teams Up with Vikkstar & Aloe Blacc for New Song “Lonely Together”
Canadian DJ Sickick teamed up with British DJ Vikkstar and American singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc to release a new song “Lonely Together” on September 5, 2025 via Purple Fly Records.
This marks the first time Sickick, Vikkstar and Aloe Blacc have worked together.
For Sickick, the song is his first music since 2024 albums “Remnants” and “Remnants: Dark Side”.
Meanwhile, for Vikkstar, the song is the followup to the collaborative song “All This Time” with Steve Aoki and Ekko.
For Aloe Blacc, the track is the third collaborative single of 2025, following “Immortal” with 2LOT and “Came To Play” with Big Rod, Colin Cooper and FRDY.
The track blends Aloe Blacc's soaring, unmistakable vocals with Sickick and Vikkstar's vibrant synths and uplifting melodies.
It was written by Aloe Blacc, Magnus Bertelsen, Michael Vigneault, Sickick Music, and Vikram Singh Barn. Produced by Sickick and Vikkstar.
Sickick said of the song, “This one hits differently! Lonely Together is for the dreamers, the dancers, and the ones who find escape in music. Play it loud and let it move you!”- He continued, “Aloe's voice brought a raw soul to it that needed an emotional synth to back it up. When I first laid them down, I wanted them to feel heavy, but also freeing. The whole process was about channeling those moments where you're carrying so much on your shoulders, and then finally letting it all go. That's why I'd call it cathartic - because it's meant to hit you in the heart but also lift you up and make you move.”
