Martin Garrix & Arcando Team Up for New Song “Set Me Free” featuring Bonn
Dutch DJs Martin Garrix and Arcando teamed up to release a new song “Set Me Free” on August 22, 2025.
The pair recruited Swedish singer-songwriter Bonn on the track.
This marks the first collaboration between Martin Garrix and Arcando. But Martin Garrix performed Arcando's remix “Jungle” at Ultra Miami last year.
Also, for Martin Garrix and Bonn, the song is the first collaboration in two years since the 2023 “Hurricane”.
The song will appear on Martin Garrix's upcoming EP “ORIGO”, which is set to be released on September 5, 2025.
It was written by lbin Nedler, John Martin, Kristoffer Fogelmark, Marc Bandecchi, Martijn Garritsen, and Michel Zitron. Produced by Martin Garrix, Arcando, and Albin Nedler.
The accompanying music video was directed by Mathias Normann.
Martin Garrix said of the song, “Set Me Free together with Arcando is my first drum and bass song!! hope you like it.”- Arcando said, “Martin and I have been talking about doing a drum & bass record together ever since he played my remix of 'Jungle' at Ultra Miami last year. We wanted to recreate that special moment by working on a drum & bass song together, something fresh for 2025. We eventually managed to find the perfect blend between both of our styles. I'm so excited to finally have the song coming out, especially as it is also Martin's first-ever drum & bass record.”
