WD-HAN Releases New Song “Always Been You”
Los Angeles-based rock band WD-HAN, consisting of Spencer Barnes (vocals), Cal Henry (guitar), and Lea Campbell (drums), released a new song “Always Been You” on October 3, 2025.
The song is the fourth single of 2025, following “Lemonade”, “Technicolor”, and “Chile”.
It is a rock anthem that captures the longing, aching, and realization that the love you have desired has been there all along.
The track was written by Cal HenryLea Barnes, and Spencer Barnes. Produced by Alex Arias.
The band lead singer Spencer Barnes said of the song, “For me, my favorite songs are the ones that say something I couldn't find the words to say myself. They capture a specific moment or feeling that you otherwise can't seem to make sense of.”- He continued, “Always Been You is the answer to a question I've had in songwriting that is, “How big of a concept of love can I convey?” There are countless moments in a grand love where you just don't have the words to say how you feel. Any platitude seems too small, too trite. So much music is about lust or infatuation; a passing thing. But what of love that feels so big that it can't possibly be the first time you've met?”
