Witch Post Releases New Song “Changeling”
Scottish-American indie rock duo Witch Post, consisting of American singer-songwriter Alaska Reid (vocals/guitar) and Scottish singer-songwriter Dylan Fraser (vocals/guitar), released a new song “Changeling” on October 1, 2025.
The song follows their debut EP “Beast”, which was released back in April.
Also, it is the first release under their new label Partisan Records.
The track was written by Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser. Produced by Quint Bishop, Alaska Reid, and Dylan Fraser.
The accompanying music video was directed by Dylan Fraser.
The duo said of the song, “We met a changeling that inspired this song. We didn’t realise it 'till a year later... Once knew a changeling Julie was her name Foxglove & roses painted tears on her face I knew she was restless, I knew she had pain Then she tried to consume me we were never the same.”- Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser met by chance, both having solo careers in the music industry but on different sides of the coin. Coincidentally they also discovered that they are from towns of the same name, one in Scotland, one in Montana.
The name Witch Post comes from 17th century carvings in rural England that were crafted to ward off witches. The duo has adopted the name in honour of the witch. Through the craft of songwriting, they explore the fabric of the world & how they feel. - source : Apple Music
