Marcus & Martinus Releases New Song “The Room”
Norwegian pop-duo Marcus & Martinus, consisting of twin brothers Marcus Gunnarsen and Martinus Gunnarsen, released a new song “The Room” on September 26, 2025.
The song is the third single of 2025, following “Endless Summer” and “Wonder”.
Also, the three songs will appear on their upcoming fifth studio album, which is yet to be announced.
It was written by Andrew Douglas Tyler, Sebastian Atas, Victor Sjöstrom, and Viktor Broberg. Produced by Michael Fatkin.
The duo said of the song, “We've been playing 'The Room' live all summer and the response has been incredible. That's why it feels extra exciting that it's finally being released to the world properly. The song has a darker energy than our recent releases, but at the same time feels very much like us. We hope our fans will love it as much as we do and sing along to it throughout the fall.”- The duo has launched their own Battle Royale game in Fortnite, featuring a stunning recreation of the Norwegian fjords alongside a futuristic cityscape, where players can listen to the unreleased track and interact with Marcus & Martinus avatars.
Players can also listen to the new song “The Room” in the game.
