Juno James Releases New Song “Cowboy”
London-based singer-songwriter Juno James released her brand new single called “Cowboy” on September 19, 2025.
In the midst of heartbreak, Juno James wrote the track whilst in Los Angeles.
The song is a quiet, powerful exploration of what it felt like to love someone behind the scenes. Channeling emotion through an abstract perspective of the relationship of which she'd just come out of, it is harnessed with a raw sense of vulnerability.
The song is the fifth single since her debut, following “Moment You Meet”, “Can't Fit In His Shoes”, “Scares Me To Death”, and “City of The Angels”.
It was written by John Samuel Gerhart and Mia-Rose James. Produced by SACCO and Blake Stokes.- Juno James said of the song, “I wanted this song to feel like you're watching a movie in slow motion. There's beauty in it, but also ache. It's not about dragging someone down, it's about holding onto the real version of them, even when the world only wanted the highlight reels.”
She added, “I wrote a song in the midst of heartbreak. It's not about dragging someone down, it's about reminder of who I am and who I would of been for them after everyone forgot their name.” - source : Apple Music
