Sigrid Announces New Album “There's Always More That I Could Say”, Premieres New Song “Fort Knox” on BBC Radio 1
Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid has announced her upcoming third studio album “There's Always More That I Could Say” will be released on October 24, 2025.
From the album, she premiered a new song “Fort Knox” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the second single off of the album, following Jellyfish” released last month.
It was written by Askjell Solstrand, Michelle Leonard, and Sigrid Solbakk Raabe. Produced by Askjell Solstrand, Sigrid, and James Ford.
Sigrid told Jack Saunders about the song, “Fort Knox is a song for everyone who's angry, who's been hurt. It's joyous, it's energetic. I wrote it with some of my best friends, and yeah, I love it. I think I'm really good at talking about emotions in my music. But I love this song so much. I made it in Bergen, in Norway, in the same studio I've made so much music. So it's just really exciting.”- She continued, “I think it helps to make music with one of your best friends, Askjell, who I'm working a lot with. We have made this song together with Michelle Leonard. In our favorite studio, and it's just sitting down there and going to the piano, getting your emotions out. When we made this song, I was basically running around with a handheld mic, like I do on stage, getting that vocal to sound as live and fresh and raw as possible. And it's still that take that you hear from the day we wrote it.”

The new album comprises 10 tracks, co-produced by long-time collaborator Askjell Solstrand and Sigrid. She recorded in in Bergen, Norway. It is her first album in three years since the 2022 album “How to Let Go“.
Sigrid said of the album, “An endless run of emotions and energy. I'm so proud of this. It's my favorite so far. I think it's really great. I think it's almost a maturity to allowing yourself to be playful again. I think I'm really getting back to why I started making music in the first place. And I feel like I've been bursting with creative energy making this one. And I have my first co-producer credit as well, properly. I mean, the process is the same as always. It's just something credited for it.”
She said on social media, “My 3rd album There's Always More That I Could Say is out October 24th. It's my favourite one yet. available to pre-order/pre-save via the link in my bio now! I've been working on this for a while now with some incredible writers and producers.. special shoutout to Askjell who's the executive producer on this with me as co-producer/co-pilot. can't get too soppy yet, but I've never ever had this much fun making music. This album's got all my favourite ingredients: easy breezy and intricate melodies, productions that breathe - joy, grit, sass, hurt, giddyness, anger, fun, choruses!!” - source : BBC Radio 1
