RAYE Releases New Song “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”
British singer-songwriter RAYE released a new song “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” on September 19, 2025.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Album 2” (working title), which is expected to be released in 2026.
The sophomore album she was working on was delayed after her car was stolen last October, which included notebooks with all her new songs. At the time, she said, “My car got stolen with all my song writing books in the boot so no second album any time soon.”
RAYE first performed the song at Glastonbury Festival 2025 back in June.
She co-wrote and co-produced the song with producer Mike Sabath. The accompanying music video was directed by The Reids.
RAYE told VOGUE about the song, “I've been single for so long. My last devastating break-up was four, five years ago. I was like, 'I'm gonna marry him.' We was together for two years and it ended up not working out. I have never experienced a more crippling emotion. It took me three, four years to get over him. Like, I can't allow myself to fall in love again until it's safe. What I look for in a man has significantly changed over the years - I need to know you could never hurt me like that.”- She continued, “I'm an old-fashioned girlie. Is it too much to ask that I'm sat at a bar one day and you walk up to me, and we look into each other's eyes and you order me a negroni, and we get talking and you love jazz music and you're intelligent and you're telling me a quote about something and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I'm moved'? I'm holding onto that. I'm in no rush. I believe what's meant to be will be.”

RAYE embarks on her headline tour “This Tour May Contain New Music” in the UK, Europe and the US in 2026. Her sisters Absolutely and Amma will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland on January 26, 2026 and will conclude at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on May 12, 2026.
