RAYE Releases New Song “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”
British singer-songwriter RAYE released a new song “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” on September 19, 2025.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Album 2” (working title), which is expected to be released in 2026.
The sophomore album she was working on was delayed after her car was stolen last October, which included notebooks with all her new songs. At the time, she said, “My car got stolen with all my song writing books in the boot so no second album any time soon.”
RAYE first performed the song at Glastonbury Festival 2025 back in June.
She co-wrote and co-produced the song with producer Mike Sabath. The accompanying music video was directed by The Reids.
RAYE told Jack Saunders of BBC Radio 1 about the song, “I think I was kind of, I've been very inspired by like the Supremes and Motown and kind of like that 1960s pop. And I was thinking about, kind of wanting to maybe bring my own spin to something that felt like that to me. Also like the fact that we played it throughout the whole summer, I opened Glastonbury with it, which was everyone's staring at me like, everyone hates it. I had to really, like, have. Anyway, so we opened the set with it, and then, across the summer, we've been playing it, and it's actually been amazing for the record. I really wanted this song to feel like it had like, live DNA in there. It just feels like, 'Is this live?' There's definitely some stuff raw, real, analog stuff going on in there.”- She continued, “'WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!' is very simple. And it's not much words, it's 'Baby, where the hell is my husband?' was taking him so long to find me. So you want to be able to read the lyric without a melody. And it move you in some sort of way, or to speak to you in some sort of way. And then you add a melody. And I think different people approach listening to music differently. Some people aren't listening to the words at all, and then you have the opposite, where some people like, I need the Lyric, like I'm listening to this song for the lyric.”

RAYE embarks on her headline tour “This Tour May Contain New Music” in the UK, Europe and the US in 2026. Her sisters Absolutely and Amma will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland on January 26, 2026 and will conclude at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on May 12, 2026.
