Dear Boy Announces New Album “Celebrator”, Shares New Song “After All” featuring Rocket
Los Angeles-based indie rock band Dear Boy, consisting of Ben Grey (vocals/guitar), Keith Cooper (drums), Austin Hayman (lead guitar) and Lucy Lawrence (bass), has announced their upcoming sophomore album “Celebrator” will be released on October 17, 2025 via Last Gang Records.
The album is their first LP in three years since the 2022 album “Forever Sometimes”.
From the album, the band released a new song “After All” on August 5, 2025.
On the track, the band teamed up with Alithea Tuttle of Los Angeles-based rock band Rocket.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “Kelly Green” released back in June.
It was written by Austin Hayman, Ben Grey, and Keith Cooper. Produced by Aron Kobayashi Ritch.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ben Grey.- The band lead singer Ben Grey said of the song, “It is crazy to have been a band for this long without contributing a primal-teenage-bedroom-rock riff. Happy to finally right a wrong. We first played with Rocket on New Year’s Eve a few years ago and became fast friends. We’re both from the Valley, went to the same pre-school, a tale as old as time. But truly, they’re an important band, and I think Alithea has one of the defining rock voices of this generation. We feel so honored she sang on After All. It’s the Catherine Wheel/Throwing Muses moment we’ve always dreamed of.”
