WILDES Releases New Song “Without A Heart”
London-based singer-songwriter Ella Walker, aka WILDES released a new song “Without A Heart” on August 20, 2025.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming sophomore album “All We Do Is Feel”, which is set to be released on September 12, 2025.
It was written by Ella Walker. Produced by Ella Walker and Elena Garcia.
The accompanying music visualiser was directed by Brenda Huerta Rodríguez, as with the previous videos for “Wipe Away The Tears” and “All I Get” from the album.
WILDES said of the song, “Of all the album tracks, this probably took the longest to reach its final form. It wasn't an easy song to get out. I really struggled to nail the production on it and, in the end, I completely re-produced it, focusing on the intimacy and fragility of the verses and bringing in the vocoder choir to emulate that robotic coldness I was feeling when I originally wrote it. It's mournful, inevitable, and has a finality to it for me. I knew once I'd written and produced it, a door would be closed on my heartache, and it was such a relief to finally finish it and feel free from that sort of pain. That makes it all worth it.”- She shared on social media, “The third single from my upcoming album, produced with my girl Tonguetied. This track was one of the last I wrote for the record, and for me has a sense of finality to it, and ending almost, although it's just beginning for all of you. I'm very proud of the production - it took a hot second to form, but I completely re-approached it with encouragement from my co-producer and it became exactly what it was meant to be. I hope you enjoy.”
She added, “For the Without A Heart visualiser, I spent 40 mins in a cold bath, swimming with dolls and daisies for the perfect shot the biggest thanks to our incredible crew who brought this together, were patient with my breath holding and spluttering, supplied 40 Barbies and pulled individual daisies out of my hair.” -
The new album comprises 11 tracks, written and produced by Ella Walker and Elena Garcia. It was recorded in Elena Garcia's childhood home.
The story that unfolds across the album is one which we all recognise: one of love, heartbreak and renewal.
There are almost no organic instruments on the album.
WILDES said, “Sometimes, electronic music can be more heart-wrenching to me than a guitar.”
