Henry Moodie Releases New Song “mood swings”
British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie will release his highly-anticipated debut album “mood swings” on October 24, 2025.
The album comprises 14 tracks, including two songs from the debut EP “in all of my lonely nights”, and one song from the second EP “good old days”.
From the album, he released the title track “mood swings” along with a music visualiser on October 3, 2025.
It was written by Charlie Martin, Henry Moodie, and Joe Housley. Produced by The Nocturns, and Sarcastic Sounds.
The song is the fourth single off of the EP, following “indigo”, “comedown” and “sunday morning”.
Henry Moodie said of the song, “If you're a little lost in life, I wrote this for you.” The song starts with a voice saying, "Tell me a bit about yourself".
He continued, “I wanted that voice to feel like it was my therapist, like we were sat down in the therapy session. And I sort of start off the album with word vomiting my life on someone, to get people to sort of know who I am before we get into the album. But it actually was my vocal producer, who did that, she's a legend.”- Henry Moodie said of the album, “Mood Swings is an album that captures the chaos, beauty, and heartbreak I've experienced over the past few years. Each track reflects a different side of me-a different mood, and a different moment in time. I've written about subjects I used to be so scared to talk about, and I finally feel ready to share my full story with you. This album marks the beginning of my journey as an artist, and I wanted it to be as honest and personal as possible.”

He continued, “Last winter was a strange one for me. Life finally felt like it slowed down after two years of almost constant touring, and I felt completely lost. I quickly realised I hadn't addressed a lot of things in my personal life. This album became a kind of flotation device—writing these songs helped me understand myself better. Whether it's coming to terms with how being bullied at school has shaped my life, or confronting the insecurities that still affect me every day, this record means everything to me.
