Jonah Marais Releases New Song “Heart's Back Home”
American singer-songwriter and former Why Don't We's member Jonah Marais released a new song “Heart's Back Home” on August 22, 2025.
The song is the first music since the EP “More Than Enough”, which was released back in May.
Jonah Marais co-wrote the song with producer Adam Yaron.
The accompanying music video was directed by Stereotype.
Jonah Marais said of the song, “This song is my story. It’s about growing up in a small Minnesota town, seeing the world, and realizing home is still what keeps me grounded. I want this song to feel like a warm hug for anyone who's ever felt torn between chasing dreams and missing home.”- He continued, “This one means more to me than I can even put into words. I started chasing music when I was just a kid from Stillwater, Minnesota. And for the past decade, I’ve seen so many incredible places, met so many amazing people, and grown up on the road. But no matter how far I’ve gone, a piece of my heart has always stayed back home. This song is for that piece. For the people who raised me, for the memories that shaped me, and for anyone who knows what it’s like to miss where they came from. I poured my whole heart into this. I hope it finds a way into yours. Thank you for riding with me all these years. It’s just the beginning.”
