Molly Stone Releases New Song “Just a Girl”
London-based singer-songwriter Molly Stone has released her brand new song “Just a Girl”.
The song is follow-up to her debut song “Bad Friend”, which was released back in July.
It dives into the double standards and assumptions women face, twisting them into something fierce and playful.
Molly Stone recorded the track with producer Reya in Los Angeles.
It was written by Charlotte Williams and Tyler Redman. Produced by Reya.
The accompanying music video was directed by Christian Cole.
Molly Stone said of the song, “We built the song around this idea that women are always underestimated. But actually, we're much more capable-and even scary-if we want to be. I love playing with that duality: being underestimated and then turning it into power.”- Molly Stone will release her upcoming song called “Haters” on October 31, 2025.
She said of the song, “I cannot wait to get this song out! I wrote it 2 years ago now and I am so proud! Love that I got to include so many of the girls in it and, of course, Richard.”
