  • The Howlers Premieres New Song “You Can Be So Cruel” on BBC Radio 6

  • London-based desert-rock band The Howlers, consisting of Adam Young (vocals/guitar), and Tom Triggs (drums), premiered a new song “You Can Be So Cruel” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Chris Hawkins.

The song is the follow-up to “Night Crawling”, which wad released back in February.
Both songs will appear on their upcoming sophomore album, which is expected to be released in 2025.
The track isn't shy or reticent in its meaning, it's a confident and sultry anti love letter.
It was written by Adam Young, and produced by Tommy Taylor, and Chris Ostler.
The band frontman Adam Young recorded all the vocals, all the guitars, and all the synths at his home and over Skype and Teams with producer Chris Ostle.

Adam Young said, “Our debut album didn't receive a single national radio play in our home country and still charted, so it feels good to begin this new era back where we belong!”
  • Adam Young said of the song, “The track is an anti love letter. We have all been swept up in the way we feel about someone that we ignore the warning signs and end up getting hurt. The track is a confident F*** You directed at those people, I'm sure there will be people who hear this track and immediately think of someone in particular who made them ignore all the signs.”

  • The band embarks on UK & EU tour, including supporting The Enemy UK tour. The tour kicks off at Scala in London on October 2 and will conclude at Melkweg in Amsterdam on November 14, 2025.
