Julia Jade Releases New Song “missin' out”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Julia Jade released a new song “missin' out” on July 25, 2025.
Originally, she shared the song on YouTube in 2022. This time, she re-recoded the tune.
The song is less about overcoming fear and more about harnessing it to take risks and live boldly despite self-doubt, weaving together sincere, conversational lyricism and layered guitar and bass instrumentals.
It was written and produced by Julia Jade. The track features Michelle Boni on guitar, Ivan Krnic on bass, and Francesca Pratt on drums.
The song follows “actually, I have time”, which was released last month.
Julia Jade said of the song, “This song encapsulates that time and feeling, and serves as a reminder that courage isn't the absence of fear, but the ability to push through it.”- Beyond her solo work, she created and continues to produce and headline bi-monthly pajama-themed music series “Slumber Party Sessions” at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. With an emphasis on inclusion and community building, Julia Jade’s musical pursuits all echo her focus on affirming vulnerability and individuality.
