Tiwa Savage Premieres New Song “On The Low” featuring Skepta on BBC Radio 1
Nigerian singer-songwriter Tiwa Savage premiered a new song “On The Low” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
On the track, she teamed up with British rapper Skepta.
This marks the first collaboration between Tiwa Savage and Skepta.
The song is the follow-up to “You4Me”, which was released back in April.
Both songs will appear on her upcoming fourth studio album “This One Is Personal”, which is set to be released on August 29, 2025.
It was written by Donel Mangena, Joseph Adenuga, Segun Micheal Ajayi, and Tiwatope Savage. Produced by Rymez.
Tiwa Savage said of the song, “It’s about trading the private for being able to tell your friends and loved ones about those flowers, that date night, that movie.”- Tiwa Savage told Jack Saunders about working with Skepta, “I kind of was just like, 'Hey, what's up?' And he was really lovely, and he responded. And then he was like, 'Are you London?' And I was like, 'yeah.' He was at the studio. And I was like, 'Oh, my God.' So I was like, 'Oh, I have a song.' And I went down and I played it for him, and he was like, 'Yo, I love it.' I'll do a verse. And then the next day, he sent me the verse. So I was going for something else, but then I got this amazing record.”

The new album comprises 15 tracks. It is her first album in five years since the 2020 album “Celia”.
Tiwa Savage said of the album, “I went through a lot, I would say, the past two years. And I just every time I got into the studio, the only music in the beat that was resonating with me were like, stuff that where I could pour out my heart.
