Rachel Curtis Returns With New Song “Growth Rings”
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Rachel Curtis returned with a new song “Growth Rings” on July 25, 2025.
The song is her first music in three years since the 2022 self-titled debut album. It is also the first release under her new label Curtis Creative LLC.
Rachel Curtis co-wrote the song with producer Mike Taylor Mains.
The music video for the song was directed by Tyler Shoemaker and premiered on August 8, 2025.
Rachel Curtis said of the song, “It’s been 3 yrs since I released music. Growth Rings is a poetically personal anthem about trying to transform my experience living with two rare genetic conditions the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes & Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease into resilience, self-acceptance & love. Like the rings of a tree, each season of life leaves its mark, quietly shaping who we are. The rings I wear on my fingers hold a symbolic meaning of the song for me personally. I hope you can feel a sense of nostalgia when listening to this song, a sense of acceptance of your past and all the seasons that have shaped you into the amazing person you all are!”- She said of the video, “This video was born from such a poetic and personal place - moments of dealing with chronic pain, growth, and quiet hope. I poured my heart into every second in case it could help you feel a little more seen in your own journey. Working with these amazing creatives that are behind Warner Music projects was surreal.
