BUNT. Teams Up with The Chainsmokers & Izzy Bizu for New Song “Spaces”
German DJ BUNT. teamed up with American DJ duo The Chainsmokers and British-Ethiopian singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu to release a new song “Spaces” on September 5, 2025 via Arista Records.
This marks the first time BUNT., The Chainsmokers and Izzy Bizu have worked together.
BUNT. first performed the song at Lollapalooza in Grant Park in Chicago last month.
Followed by, BUNT. and The Chainsmokers surprise performed it at The 1896 in New York on September 3, 2025.
For BUNT., the song follows “Best Day of My Life (BUNT. Version)” featuring Tom Odell and “Crazy” with Myles Lloyd.
The track was written by Alex Pall, Andrew Bullimore, Andrew Taggart, Izzy Bizu, Lars Rosness, and Levi Gültekin. Produced by BUNT. and The Chainsmokers.
BUNT. said of the song during the pop-up show at The 1896, “They were like my childhood heroes, and I'm having that full circle moment where we were in the studio together and being here this will be insane. Two years ago I was driving my bike, delivering food for Uber Eats, and now I am standing here with these two legends. These two guys did so much for the EDM scene, so for me this is insanely special.”- He shared on social media, “Maybe a small tear rolling down my face writing this but yesterday was one of these nights. The Chainsmokers were literally my childhood heroes. I had 'Closer' and 'Don't Let Me Down' on repeat in highschool and I guess I'm not the only one. And now this: a song + a back alley pop up together in New York. Thank you that I can live this dream peaking on happiness here.”
