  • Lloren Releases Debut Album “It's Always Sunny in LA”

  • London-based singer-songwriter Lloren released her highly-anticipated debut album “It's Always Sunny in LA” on August 1, 2025 via A&G Records.

The album comprises 14 tracks, produced by Anna Schulze, Charlie T, and Daniel Pashman.
Lloren has spent a good part of 2023/24 in Los Angeles, where she wrote and recorded her debut album.
The album filled with big dream pop anthems, retro euphoric sounds and hyper romantic themes .

Lloren said of the album, “My Album 'It's always Sunny in LA' is out. Big thanks to everyone who made this happen the team A&G Songs the most talented producers Daniel Pashman, Anna Schulze Charlie T and everyone else who's been a part of this project!”
  • Lloren explained some tracks for the album.

    “What Dreamers Do”
“I wrote 'What Dreamers Do' on a trip to LA at a time when I wasn't really feeling like myself. I was anxious, antisocial, and needed a serious pep talk. So, I gave myself one. The song is basically a conversation I had with myself about seizing the opportunities in front of me, seeing the magic in the city, and, honestly just getting myself off the sofa to go find it.”

    “California Daydream”
“In essence, while the song celebrates the allure of romanticised love, the beauty of it, but it also subtly alludes to the unrealistic expectations perpetuated by popular culture. But ye, it's also totally just a fun pop song.”

    “The One”
“This song is for those who have a penchant for the dramatic, the delulu and have absolutely no chill in the romance department. I guess you could say it's just another girl being melodramatic in love, and what better way to serve melodrama than with a side of Hollywood nostalgia all wrapped up in retro synth, so it feels like you're being given a hug by the 80s.”

  • “Like This (Always Sunny mix)”
“Initially the video concept was a quirky idea I had about falling in love with a mannequin at the end of the world. I pitched it to my very talented director friend and his weird mind met mine, and so the post-apocalyptic retro dream that is 'Like This' was formed. My Character Lloretta, is a die-hard romantic who is determined to avoid reality with escapism in the most theatrical ways. I relate to her very much and her need to seek out a little magic in these uncertain times.”

    “The Last Star In LA”
“The song is just a love letter to the city! I wanted it to sound like a love song, but if you listen closely, you can hear it's got a double meaning.”

    “Like I Need”
“After coming out of a 12-year relationship, I realised that any love I accepted next would have to be something spectacular, the kind of romance you see on movie screens. It wasn't that I wasn't loved before, just not in the way I needed. When I started developing a new crush, as exciting as it was, I knew I couldn't settle. I wanted and deserved the kind of love that sweeps you off your feet, full of passion, magic, and possibility. Nothing less. The chorus is a pretty much a road map to my heart!”.

    “LA LA Love”
“I was really inspired by Lana Del Rey on this one-her ability to paint a romanticised picture of her relationships while also seeming to ask bigger questions, at least in my experience. La La Love is a fictional story that plays with elements of truth, based on my time in L.A. I wanted to lean into that classic Hollywood romance on the surface while also addressing the more sinister side of having big aspirations. It's easy to be taken in when someone promises to make all your dreams come true. There are plenty of devils in the City of Angels.”

    “Lonely Hearts Club”
“To be honest, I didn't have Valentine's Day in mind when I originally wrote the song. It's just where I was at emotionally. I just had the lyrics hit me at first, and I had this sort of idea of the “lonely hearts club” carrying a double meaning—both the experience of being part of this very sad club of lonely people, but also being in a real nightclub. Because even when you're sad, there's something so joyful about the feeling of the lights and the music. Then much later, I was in the studio with my friend Charlie, and he was playing a little tune on the piano, and it just all came together.”

    “Casual”
“I wanna be cool, casual and to satisfy my appetite with no strings attached. But in reality, I'm the sort of person at the start of a new relationship that's already mapped out our star signs, talked to a psychic and planned out our future!”

“Beverly Hills Baby (recorded live at Konk Studios)”
“I hung out at the Beverly Hills hotel once and met a fascinating woman who was staying in town to have her face done. We talked about lots of things, her daughter, her penchant for younger men and I liked her story.”
