Gal Musette Releases New Song “Broken Clock”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Gal Musette released a new song “Broken Clock” on September 5, 2025.
The song will is the follow-up to “Love Hurts”, which was released back in February. Two songs will appear on her upcoming third studio album “Our Day in the Sun”.
The track is stunning folk embrace featuring blissful harmonies and delicate acoustic rhythms.
It was written by Grace Freeman, and produced by Jon O'Brien.
The track features Levi Matulis on drums, Via Mardot on theremin, Amanda Carson on chorus, Daisy Abrams on chorus, and Fede Petro on guitar.
Gal Musette said of the song, “‘Even a broken clock is right twice a day’ is an old saying that caught my attention when an old boyfriend called me 'blind.' I thought then—even with my blind spots, I knew my gut was right in leaving that relationship behind.”- She shared on social media, When I’ve been at my most confused- this sassy lil song has been here for me. Learning to trust my gut has been such a struggle throughout my life. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.”
The new album marks a quiet rebellion and a coming-into-self. Known for her delicate, introspective sound, Gal Musette steps into new power with this record, an intimate ode to loss, endings, and the unraveling of old ideals.
The album also features a collaboration with Aaron Marsh (of Copeland), who composed the lush string and woodwind arrangement. -
