LUCKYANDLOVE Returns With New Song “I Am Human”
Los Angeles-based electronic duo LUCKYANDLOVE, consisting of April Love (vocals/synths) and Loren Luck (drums/synths) returned with a new song “I Am Human” on August 5, 2025.
It is their first music in six years since the 2019 album “Transitions”.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming third studio album “Humaura”, which is set to be released on October 3, 2025 via Southern Record Distributors.
Calling out to make our own choices and take back our lives, this song underlines the need to reconnect with being Human before its too late.
It was written and produced by April Love and Loren Luck. The accompanying music video was directed by Loren Luck.- The band lead singer April Love said of the song, “To me, 'I Am Human' is a sci-fi track. It's call to arms for screen zombies to disconnect. I read Martin Heidegger's 'The Question Concerning Technology' in grad school and I like when he says that we shall have questions concerning technology and, in so doing, we should like to prepare a free relationship with it.”
Loren Luck added, “I think there are a lot of people that actually hate technology, but would never have the guts to say it. Personally with this song, we are breaking the chains, going back to a simpler time of human creativity and free thinking.” -
