Midnight Til Morning Releases Two New Songs “Navy Eyes” & “Welcome to LA”
American-Australian pop rock band Midnight Til Morning, consisting of Conor Smith, Mason Watts, Shane Appell and Zach Newbould, released two new songs “Navy Eyes” and “Welcome to LA” on September 10, 2025.
“Navy Eyes” is accompanied by a music video, which was directed by Murli Dhir.
The song leans into a moodier, more textured soundscape while giving space for the group’s signature emotive vocal delivery.
It was written by Kevin Garrett, Rory Andrew, Evan Cline, who also produced the track.
The band said of the song, “'Navy Eyes' is a song you listen to while driving through the city late at night. With your best friend, partner or by yourself. It’s a positive romantic anthem made to soundtrack those special moments.”
They continued, “We knew this song was special the moment we finished it. It’s romantic, a little brooding, and feels like a time machine to nights you never wanted to end. Honestly, it's one of our favorite tracks we've ever made. It shows a whole new side of our sound, and we can't wait for you to feel it the way we do.”- The band wrote “Welcome to LA” with Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark and producer Robby De Sa.
It's a late-night confession about chasing dreams in a city built on illusion, a place where promises shine bright but rarely deliver.
The band said of the song, “This one pushed us out of our comfort zones- it’s raw, vulnerable, and one of the most meaningful songs we’ve ever written. We’re so proud of these tracks and so thankful for all of you.” -
