googly eyes Releases New Song “I Don't Go Out”
Swedish singer-songwriter Bethany Ann Warner, aka googly eyes teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo and Australian DJ Flume to release a new song “I Don't Go Out” on August 15, 2025 via Pretty Swede Records and Neon Gold Records.
This marks the first time googly eyes, Tove Lo and Flume have worked together.
The collaboration began in September 2023, when Tove Lo and Flume invited emerging artists to submit demos for their new project via instagram.
googly eyes was selected as their collaborator after receiving thousands of submissions.
Her upcoming collaborative EP is set to be released later this year via Pretty Swede Records, which is Tove Lo's own independent label.
googly eyes co-wrote the song with Tove Lo and Flume. Produced by googly eyes and Flume.
The accompanying music video was directed by Maya Sassoon.- googly eyes said of the song, “It's a pretty surreal moment releasing a song I made with Tove Lo and Flume - especially since it's my first time opening my world to collaborators. 'I Don't Go Out' is lovestruck, tender, and for anyone who's happiest to be in bed by 9pm with their person. It taps into two things I circle back to constantly: my instinct to retreat from the noise, and my deep, uncomplicated love for my partner. I feel really lucky to have a love like that, and to be making music about it with two artists I've admired for years.”

Tove Lo shared on social media, “When Flume and I asked the internet for demos googly eyes was one of the first to respond. We were instantly curious about this incredibly talented girl who writes, sings and produces emotional wierdo bangers. The three of us have been in the studio together on and off for the last year and have made beautiful stuff. The reason I'm telling you about it is obviously because the first song dropped todaaaay!”
